New Twilight Saga: Eclipse Clips!

June 10, 2010 Leave a comment

So, after some youtube searching, I have come across a few new clips of the up and coming installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse, which is to be released on June 30th.

They all look really good and I have to say that I think Robert’s acting got better… at least when he plays moody Edward. Also, I love seeing all of the Quileutes back again. The new vampire from Victoria’s clan looks bad ass and I can’t wait to see more of him. As for Bella and Jacob… well… I’m on their side. I was never a Cullen lover. 😀

Vampire Goes Super Spy?

I seriously want to know when vampires started becoming the big thing. Not that I am complaining exactly, since vampires are my favorite supernatural creature, but I’m starting to get tired of these horrible renditions and takes on what a vampire is. More than that, I am getting tired of how boring all of this vampire bullshit is becoming… it’s almost ruining the mysticism of vampires for me.

Anyways, after some searching the web I came across yet another article on new vampire movies in the works. Now, from what I have researched about the movies they don’t sound that bad… as long as they get an amazing director to back the film. The movies are going to be based on two novels by Christopher Farnsworth entitled Blood Oath and Black Site.

In Blood Oath you are introduced to Nathaniel Cade, a vampire captured by the Union Army shortly after the civil war. Instead of being killed, Nathaniel agrees to swear loyalty to the then-President Andrew Johnson and then spends the next 150 years protecting the Commander in Cheifs. The vampire is then assigned a new human partner and is set to investigate a deadly plot involving a terrible biological weapon.

And who is going to be overlooking the new vampire project you ask? None other than Lucas Foster who produced Law Abiding Citizen.

So what do you think? Will it be a yay or nay?
