Travie McCoy’s New Music Video: “The Manual”

If you have been following Travie’s solo career you probably already knew that the song “The Manual” was first released on the Nappy Boy Mixtape months ago that was downloadable for free on nappyboyonline.com along with a couple other Travie tracks.

“The Manual” was also released on his solo album Lazarus that came out only three days ago that features the hit single “Billionaire”. While I used to not like T-Pain, I have to say that I found a new respect for him after listening to the Nappy Boy Mixtape and even though “The Manual” wasn’t my favorite Trav track off of it, I am happy that he put it on his solo album.

So here is the music video for “The Manual”. It has a kind of weird yet playful vibe to it and it kind of channels back to the part of the “Cookie Jar” video where Trav is in a straight jacket. Plus, there is a random scene where he is making out with a girl and the signature toothbrush was featured. Oh, how I missed the toothbrush!

Travie McCoy: Need You

We here at Teplicity have been keeping up with the release of Travie McCoy’s debut solo album Lazarus. We have put up every single new song release audio clip on here and while they haven’t gotten many views I still feel they are necessary.

See, I am a huge fan of Trav and I am beyond stoked to get my hands on the new album. Every song that has been released from this album has been a pleasant surprise. While my favorite is still “Superbad”, I have to say that I did enjoy “Need You”. Reading the title, I expected it to be a love song about how much he needs a chick BUT that isn’t quite what it’s all about. According to Travie, “It’s about how tough it is to move on and explain to someone that you’re bruised and not really ready to pursue something.”

Obviously these are lyrics than anybody can relate to. From all of the song releases so far I can tell that this album is going to be a good one. AP magazine even gave Lazarus a 4 out of 5 stars in their album review which you can find in their newest issue.

So, if you haven’t already pre-ordered it, go out and buy the album June 8th. That’s six days from now! Put it on your calendars!

New Song: Travie McCoy “Superbad”!

Yes, thanks to fuckyeahtravismccoy on tumblr.com here is the new song off of Travie McCoy’s upcoming album Lazarus! The song is entitled “Superbad”.

Not that I expected any different from him but it is an amazing song. I kind of gritted my teeth a bit at the use of autotune but after the initial first couple of seconds I didn’t realize it was there anymore. Trav is 3 for 3 right now. I cannot wait for the new album to finally arrive at my house. I am so fucking stoked.

Travie McCoy’s New Single!

Travis McCoy, who now goes by the moniker of Travie McCoy, is releasing a solo album June 8th by the name of Lazarus. The first single off of the album was “Billionaire” which featured the vocal styling of none other than Bruno Mars. Listening to the new single, “We’ll Be Alright”, up against “Billionaire” it is quite easy to see that Trav’s declaration of Lazarus being a party/summer album is coming to fruition.

So keep an eye out for Trav and his new album along with the likes of Gym Class Heroes’ new album to be titled P.C.C. 2 (Paper Cut Chronicles 2).
