Travie McCoy’s New Music Video: “The Manual”

June 11, 2010 Leave a comment

If you have been following Travie’s solo career you probably already knew that the song “The Manual” was first released on the Nappy Boy Mixtape months ago that was downloadable for free on nappyboyonline.com along with a couple other Travie tracks.

“The Manual” was also released on his solo album Lazarus that came out only three days ago that features the hit single “Billionaire”. While I used to not like T-Pain, I have to say that I found a new respect for him after listening to the Nappy Boy Mixtape and even though “The Manual” wasn’t my favorite Trav track off of it, I am happy that he put it on his solo album.

So here is the music video for “The Manual”. It has a kind of weird yet playful vibe to it and it kind of channels back to the part of the “Cookie Jar” video where Trav is in a straight jacket. Plus, there is a random scene where he is making out with a girl and the signature toothbrush was featured. Oh, how I missed the toothbrush!

The Fame Monster Strikes Again With “Alejandro”

June 9, 2010 Leave a comment

From the Fame Monster album, Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” has already hit the airwaves but the music video has finally been released. Simply amazing, Lady Gaga has a way of surprising her fans every time.  Hope you little monsters (as Gaga would say) enjoy the video. It’s very different but something not unexpected by her fans.

30 Seconds To Mars’ “Closer To The Edge” Music Video

June 8, 2010 Leave a comment

Really, this is a fabulous day to be a member of the Echelon.

After spending  just two shows with other fans of 30 Seconds to Mars, I have come to the serious conclusion that I will be able to go to any other show and not have as much of a memorable night as I did in Philly and Allentown. Shannon, Tomo, Jared and Tim have an energy that cannot be duplicated by any one else! Plus, there is such a unity not only amongst the members of the crowd but between the crowd and the band as well. I have never experienced something like it before and while I suggest that each and every single one of you go to a 30STM show, I know that most of you won’t.

However, the guys have blessed the members of the Echelon and all of their fans with a beautiful video compilation of clips from their lives shows and made an entire music video out of it for their new single “Closer To The Edge”, which Jared said will be publicly released tomorrow. The video above is a video camera recorded version that was taken from the early release of the video over in New Zealand.

While Bartholomew Cubbins has gifted us with absolutely stunning videos, I have to say that I think this is going to be my favorite. I absolutely got chills just watching it and I have to say that I don’t think anyone will truly appreciate it unless you have experienced it yourselves. But anyways, keep an eye out for it and take the time to watch the video before it gets removed by shitty ass EMI!

Throwback Video of the Day!

June 3, 2010 Leave a comment

If you have looked around our page, you should have noticed the fact that we started putting up notable “throwback” videos that either of us enjoy. Marky and I are both people who are hooked on music and I firmly believe that just because time keeps moving that there is no reason to forget your past and all the good times you had. So I decided to do the whole “throwback” part of Teplicity. While some of the videos posted may not be that old to some people, I consider them old.

This video, “Never There” by Cake, is from 1998. I completely forgot about this song ever existing until I was in the car with my grandparents on the way to Allentown and this came on. Check it out… another oldie but goodie.

You can get it here.

Paramore: The Only Exception

June 2, 2010 Leave a comment

I don’t like Paramore. I have always found them to be overrated and I never really liked their music save for a couple songs, i.e. “Decode”. Plus, it doesn’t help that I really don’t like most female singers. However, I was sitting in the car today and this song came on. I knew it was Paramore because Hayley’s voice is too damn recognizable. At first I didn’t think I was going to like it but I was wrong.

I am such a sucker for a slow song, especially an acoustic one and this is no different. The lyrics are beautiful and easy to relate while Hayley’s voice is stunning. And the video… the video is damn adorable and Hayley looks insanely beautiful.

This is one of my new favorite songs… I guess I will finally give Paramore a chance.

I Can’t Wait To Get You Home

May 22, 2010 Leave a comment

It’s amusing to me to see how bands blow up with one single or even a couple singles and then they sort of drop off the radar. Everyone and their mothers knew Shwayze’s hit singles “Corona And Lime” and “Buzzin” but once the hype was over, most people seemed to forget all about the duo including me.

During one of those days of searching the web for new music to listen to I stumbled across the fact that they released another album besides their self titled. In 2009, they released Let It Beat, an album produced almost in its entirety by Cisco Adler and written mostly by Shwayze and Cisco. However, Let It Beat strayed away from their acoustic rock hip hop mash-up. While the album was just alright to me, I highly enjoyed “Get U Home”. It has a great beat and catchy lyrics so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Adam Lambert’s New Video

May 22, 2010 Leave a comment

I LOVE Adam Lambert. He has an amazing voice and has a sense of style that I have never seen before in a man. What I love the most about him though is how true he is to himself. He dances along to the beat of his own drummer and isn’t shy about anything he does. It’s very rare to find that in an individual, especially one who was in the spotlight for a very long time as a contestant on American Idol. However, Adam has definitely established himself in the industry, making more of a name for himself than the actual American Idol winner, Kris Allen.

Adam has already released three singles off of his album For Your Entertainment; “For Your Entertainment”, “Time For Miracles” and “Whataya Want From Me”. I enjoyed the videos immensely so when I noticed in a magazine at the grocery store today that he was making a new music video for “If I Had You”, I just had to look it up. While the video has yet to be released, I have found a video of behind the scenes footage and from what I can tell, it is going to look amazing.

As always, his clothing is out of the ordinary but entirely on point, making him look fierce as all hell. I can’t wait til it is released.

There’s No Getting Over You

I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I know anything about David Guetta because I really don’t. He hasn’t been an artist that I have experience with, however, I just had to put this video up.

This song is such a party track and made me bob my head with a smile on my face. The vocal display by Fergie and Chris Willis absolutely shocked me and surprisingly, their soaring vocals mix well with the techno/rap backing provided by LMFAO.

Quality song and quality video. I approve.

New “This Is War” Music Video Teaser

May 20, 2010 Leave a comment

The second teaser video for 30 Seconds to Mars’ new music video for “This Is War”.

It’s not that much different than the other one I posted but the new things that are shown still look amazing. I can’t wait til it is released! And rumor has it that they are releasing “This Is War” and “Closer To The Edge” at the same time.

I’m not sure what that means exactly but Jared Leto confirmed it himself right here.
